Within the Digital Hub Stream at the London Book Fair, TISP is organizing a seminar about e-skills in collaboration with the Publishers Association and in partnership with ‘E-skills for Jobs 2014′: Publishing and the ICT Sector: How Skills are changing in these different sectors to be able to work more closely together.
Publishers are building their digital skills capacity and ICT companies are building their knowledge of the publishing sector, embodying editorial skills within their organisations. Together as these skills grow, publishers and ICT companies have a greater understanding of each other’s businesses and will lead to increased cooperation. This panel will explore how publishers and ICT companies are developing their skills and what kind of projects and outcomes this is leading to.
