Anna Lionetti graduated in Italian literature, and after a post-graduate degree in publishing she has been working for a publishing company focusing on editorial activities.
Since 2012 she works at mEDRA, taking part at national and EU projects for the development of new services for the publishing industry, based on metadata standards and on the effective management of bibliographic, commercial and rights information in the content value chain.
She is involved in DOI-related activities and projects, in particular on the issue of metadata interoperability.
She is also lecturer on metadata management and identification standards to a post degree course on publishing at the University of Milan, and co-author of an e-book on metadata and identification standards in publishing to be issued in 2015 in AIE digital series “Quaderni del Giornale della Libreria”.
